Here are some guides or to do's if your passport is missing:

- Report it to the local police station and get a confirmation of loss (POLICE REPORT).

- You report the loss to the overseas missions yourself and get a temporary passport or travel certificate.

- If you travel to several countries, you need to reissue your passport, but if you don't have the next schedule and have to return home, it's better to get a short travel certificate and apply for a passport reissue when you return home.

- When you reissue your passport when you travel, the issuance date can be shortened if you have a copy of your lost passport and two photos for your passport.

- If you lose your passport more than three times within five years, you will be investigated according to the law.
